F***ing Khador Bullshit

Those were the words spoken by one of my best friends after he lost to my pButcher list.  I got in 2 games this last Friday evening and it was a blast.

The first was a 15 point game vs. my buddies Retribution.  Lists were:

pButcher
Juggernaut
Destroyer
6 Iron Fang Pikemen

Garryth
Manticore
6 Invictors
Narn
Eiryss

This was one of the longest and most tactical 15 point game I've have played so far.  His Manticore charged my Juggernaut and though he put up a valiant fight, the Manticore eventually wrecked the Khador machine.  My Destroyer spent most of the game disrupted by Eiryss and lobbing unboosted shots at his units.  My Ironfangs and his Invictors took turns punching each other in the face.  My opponents downfall was when he underestimated the distance between Butcher and Garryth.  Garryth had popped his feat and was not in Butcher's front arc so he felt pretty safe.  But even without being able to spend focus or being able to charge, Butcher still advanced into melee range of Garryth and popped Blood Frenzy and hit with his one attack.  Then dropped 4d6 + 16 on poor Garryth.  Needless to say they had to sop Garryth up with a mop after this game.  The funniest part was my opponents reaction.  He was piiiiiissed....I guess he thought he had me right where he wanted me.  He went into an alcohol fueled  tirade.  I haven't seen a rant like that since 5th edition fantasy, it was priceless.

Upcoming Games

We've got a game night planned this upcoming weekend.  15 pts Khador vs. Retirbution, 25 pts Khador vs. Cryx, and 25 pts Cryx vs. Retribution.  I'll post up some pictures and some short recaps when it's all said and done.
